Those are not wild chinchillas...those are Visachus (sp) a close realative of the chinchilla. Wild chinchillas look like chinchillas...

The wild chinchillas always look so strange to me! They aren't the same as the chins I have here. They aren't like Cartman! LOL Cartman is like eight of them and twice as fluffy.

I agree, the Viscachas are still cute even though they look rusty.

Looks kinda like they took a domestic chin, wore it out a bit, placed it on a rock and took pictures.
