Why Chins and Rabbits should be kept seperate!

Thanks for this precious info =) Our local chin shops sells rabbits together with chins! :banghead:How i wish i could educate that so call chinchilla guru...

I had someone email me, they had 20ish chinchillas, brought a new one home from the pet store did not quareentine, Well the chinchilla had been housed next to the rabbits when they brought the new one in he died and the pasterella infection spread and killed off all 20 animals.

They were shocked to learn what they did wrong. I pointed them here before they get any more chinchillas but I doubt they will show up. I am just happy I had never sold to them. This happens more than people realize.
