Which is better?

I have been giving my hedgie canned dried mealworms. she seems to like them, but I am wondering if live mealworms are better for her or if it really doesn't matter?

I think, but I'm not too sure, that it's really up to the hedgehog of which he likes better. But I'm not totally sure (still a perspective relativly new hedgehog owner) so does anyone else know?

Well, I do not believe the canned ones are recommended. However, freeze-dried are live ones are fine. I feed freeze dried and the hedgehogs don't seem to tell the difference.

Here is an article which has surfaced lately and has caused a lot of debate. I am a strong believer in MODERATION. Small amounts of most treats are ok. You have to watch though-too much of anything can be bad.

I had live accidentally come in with one of my rescues and I decided to try them with the gang.. no one would touch live mealies. But they inhale the freezedried. I also dont give a lot or every day.

Im ok with them not liking live worms.. I hate them.. they freak me out!
