Where to buy a scale?

I want to buy a scale for weighing my chinchillas. Does any body have any recommendations? I found this website but don't know which would be better: http://www.affordablescales.com/ . Maybe people can share their experiences with different scales? I see some are glass, some have a cup/container, etc. Or maybe there's a brand people prefer for accuracy/quick readings?

Would a postal scale off ebay work?

The kitchen dept. at Walmart has some of the best, reasonably! Oz. + grams, an extra battery, plastic bowl, goes to 10 lbs., and a way to zero it!!

Yep, or ebay has good ones too, make sure they weigh up to 5lbs and in grams. Plastic bowls are great, or even a shoe box or open basket. Office supply stores have mail scales that work too but are usually more expensive.

i got mine at walmart for like 15 bux & it is accurate, cause i weighed my boy at home & then took him to the vet and we got the same weight.
just got to remember to switch the button to grams & not pounds.

I didn't like the Walmart scales because they only weighed in 2 gram increments. I was weighing kits so every gram counted. I bought my scales on ebay and have been really happy with them. They weigh in 1 gram increments and go up to 7 kilos (about 14 lbs).

The Walmart ones work okay for weight adults like said. If you were to want a more accurate scale, I bought mine from this ebay seller and have been happy with mine. (although I use mine mostly to weigh packages, but it's been accurate!)

I just bought this one from Target and it works well for my purposes. It measures in grams, and takes just a second or two to get an accurate measurement.

I went to Walgreens today - they only had a flimsy scale that went up to 500g. I hope Target is open tomorrow.

I went to my local Walmart today. I guess I live in such a ghetto area (Richmond, CA) that it doesn't carry any! I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and found quite a selection. Bought a Cuisinart one. Buffy weighed in a 497g, up from 440g on Tuesday when he got his teeth filed. Glad he is packing back some of his weight
