Curious if there is a certain point when you stop supplementing?

Our little guy is still getting his 2/3 hour feedings. Most feedings he easily takes 1ML of supplement. he hit 45g today and his siblings are just about twice that in size. Gus Gus his bigger standard brother is 91g and his other mosaic brother is 85g now. They are just about 10 days old now.

I usually figure that if he still wants it, he's not getting enough from mom. Especially with two bigger siblings, he's not big enough to fight for it when he needs it. I'd keep supplementing, or rotate the other two out in two hr intervals so he can get everything he needs to grow.

At only 45 gm, I definitely wouldn't stop feeding. If I have trips I am rotating, I won't even attempt to stop hand feeding until 100 gm. I always feed them after they come out from mom, but I don't let go of that feeding until they are big enough that they could survive on their own if they absolutely had to.

Oh, certainly not done feeding the little guy. Just curious if there was a point people stop trying or if he will let us know by not accepting anymore. We are feeding 1 ML of supplement every 2 hours or 3 hours during the late night. My wife had some very nice 1 ML syringes intended for use in her pediatric unit, which the little guy loves taking supplement from.
