Wheel for Melamine Cage

I am looking for a good wheel for my pair of chins, however the cage i have is one i built myself as i'm sure a few others here have, my cage is constructed of 1x2's and has melamine panels for walls. After looking at most of the recommended wheels for chins (chin spin, silver surfer, etc) i have found most of them are meant to be mounted to a wire cage. So i am wondering what wheels people have used (perhaps slightly modified?) inside their solid-wall cages.

I have mounted to solid surface cages, just replace the bolts with a longer length.

I wish I had thought of Dawn's suggestion when I was putting my chinspin in my melamine cage!! I just mounted it to left over wood and screwed the wood to the wall. When it gets loose (which it eventually will) I'm going to just use longer bolts.
