I just have some questions about what I should do with my chin during his playtime. I always let him run around in the bathroom (there's nowhere else safe for him, or clean enough) for about an hour and he loves to jump from the ground to the toilet and then to the sink counter. I think he has fun doing that, but I think he might be getting a little bored of it... Is there something I could do with him during this playtime? Or anyone have any suggestions for something safe I could give him to play on or in?

I give them cardboard boxes with holes cut in the sides and top, and I switch them out regularly so its always "new" for them. I also will throw in an extra fleece-covered PVC tube, or a spare hidey house for them to crawl on/over/through. Paper grocery bags are fun, or you can use small paper bags and stuff them with hay and roll them up for the chins to destroy. I have some apple sticks and things laying around for them to chew, as well.

I have a basket of chews that I leave out. Also I bring in an extra chube, hidey house, fleece, cardboard box if I have one. I rotate her toys so she does not get bored. I also sit on the floor with her and let her run around.

I found with my chins that if there's somewhere I don't want them to go and I try to block it off, they will go crazy obsessed trying to get to it. Now, I'll block off random areas that are perfectly safe. They think I'm trying to not let them go there, so they jump all over it, dig, pull, etc with the boxes and stuff I put there. It's pretty funny, and they seem pretty occupied.

Sounds a lot like my chin. We put up 4 foot high cardboard walls that includes his critter nation cage. He'll run back into the cage to the highest point to look over it, then run back out to the same corner and start trying to jump over. This repeats a number of times during the 45 minute play time.

To to OP, there are five of us that are his playmates. We sit or lay in his play area and are toys for him just like the various boxes, chews, etc. that others have mentioned. This past weekend he took the opportunity to jump on top of my 4 year olds head in his efforts to make it to the forbidden territory.

Haha! That's a good idea!! I like to do what previous posters said and then I sit with them and the kits like to jump on me.. That is always fun...
