just want to confirm that your other house has an air conditioner, right? if not, take yours along, as much of a pain in the tookus it may be to haul it back and forth.

My other house does have air conditioning, yes.

I agree with ChinnyMom, the glass superbet bottle is the best bottle I've found. I have one for each Chin and it never leaks! You can find them at petsmart and petco

thats the water bottle I use and its been fine. yea ac is definite if the area you are is humid around this time of year. =D glad to see your chinnie is home!!

I got it but it doesn't fit on my cage and it drips. It has a flat side and it won't go against the cage because of it and the nozzle.

the flat side goes against the outside of the cage bars, the nozzle goes through the bars to the interior of the cage. i find these bottles work best if you fill them right up so that a good vacuum gets created and then they barely drip at all. one of my tricks is to flip them over really fast after filling and screwing the nozzle on. haven't had mine leak at all.

You have to fill them up so the water is overflowing, then screw on the top. If not, the vacuum isn't created and it will continue to drip. They always drip a little after filling them, but should stop shortly thereafter.

I thought the waterbottle I got with my QC Cage was broken because it dripped nonstop, but I found out I wasn't filling the bottle up all the way and that was the reason.
