Okay, so Tia has been doing all right lately. Today she was in more pain than usual because it was damp and rainy, but other than that she's been good. I've been dusting her instead of letting her roll, meaning that I hold her still and rub it on her fur. It is very hard for me to get to her underside and belly, so it hasn't been dusted in awhile.

I guess today she got kinda sick of that, because I just walked into my room and saw her pushed up against her water bottle and her whole face, chin, and chest is soaked with water!

Why would she do that? The water bottle isn't leaking, I checked it, so she must have pushed her body up against it or something.

What should I do? I closed the windows so she could stay warm and dry off, but... I don't know what to think of this.

i know you are not supposed to handle her too much, but maybe a super soft washcloth or papertowels to absorb the excess?
my one chin who has malo and gets nightly meds/handfeeding, so he taken out of his cage......but he gets ticked off & has an attitude when I take the others out or are cleanng their cage before him. he literally attacks his water bottle and gets water on his face and chest. this happens pretty much every night.
so when it is finally his turn, i take a soft hand towel and wipe him down. and then he usually dusts many of the nights.

She's already on fleece. It'll get soaked up eventually. I would just move the water bottle. She may have decided she likes THAT spot to lay in.

All right, I'll move the water bottle. She has been changing her favorite place to lay frequently...
