What size wheel for a hamster?

Female Syrian hamster, 6-7"; What size wheel is good that can be obtained quickly? We just got a rescue without anything. Thanks.

Aim for an 8" if you can. They need enough space to run flat, like a chin does, from everything I've read. The "regular" size Silent Spinner is available in most pet stores and should do for a while at least, though it's a little small for my moose of a Syrian, or there's the Wodent Wheel Jr. http://www.martinscages.com/products/accessories/exercise.htm that's 8" across. The Silent Spinner can also go in the dishwasher, but top rack only, which I learned the hard way, and explains why I'm in the market for a Wodent Wheel once I get some bills paid off.
