A while ago I put a silver surfer in a Critter Nation. Don't ask me how I got it in as I am still amazed that I did...Ahhh now what goes in must come out right? Wrong! I have been trying to get this thing out all morning. GRRRRR I have tried using plier handles as a pry bar and everything else I can think of short of destroying the cage. If someone has an idea for something I can put on the wheel to use as a break that just might be easier. Any suggestions?

Hey I just thought of something...What if I took a small fleece throw and covered it then bunch up the excess in the back of the cage and secure it with a zip tie on the outside. Would that work????

Are you trying to take it out or just stop it from spinning? I stopped my chin spin from spinning by drilling a hole though the back side and putting a bolt through it and the cage. As for getting it off the cage... if all of the bolts are undone, then the hooks may have bent and just need to be bent back out a little.

At first I was trying to take it out because that mama just had a baby and I was worried for the baby's safety but since I can't get it out I temporarily covered it with a fleece throw so neither mom nor baby can get to it. Once the baby is weaned I want it to be useable again. It just has 2 hooks on the top but man the way they are made it is hard to take in and out with the Critter Nation's 1/2" bar spacing.
