This is Soraya. She is going to her new home on Saturday...she's about 11 weeks old now. Look at her bizarre coloring! In a few months it will even out, but she looks funny for now. The much lighter line down her back really creates that much contrast even in person. Many TOV babies have this happen, but her veiling looks so weird.

When she was born she had no signs of TOV at all.

SO CUTE!!! If her new home falls through tell her to start heading my way!

I don't think she looks weird. I think you look weird for saying she looks weird. :p I think she looks adorabulzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

That is a weird pattern!

I have a weird one that was born earlier this year. Thought she was just a REALLY dark beige when she was barn, just didn't show major signs of TOV, but I had my doubts. Dam is a brown velvet, sire is a standard. The older she gets the more she's getting in her mask and veiling. She still doesn't have much veiling on the back, but it'll come in eventually.

Brown velvet are an interesting color. You really never know what you will get in between baby and adult. I've had several with various masks and spots on the back too. Most of them have evened out in color over the years. Always fun to watch them change too.
