Is there a possibility of a chin losing weight if it was shifted from a small to big cage?

I suppose it would depend on just how big the new cage was by comparison.
Does the bigger cage have a wheel? I know some chins can lose weight when they get access to a wheel for the first time.

Hi, thanks for the reply. There's no wheel in the new cage, just bigger in volume. Perhaps 2.5 times bigger...

I've had this happen with my pet chin a few years ago. When I got him I had him in a smaller cage, then after about a year I upgraded him to a much, much larger cage. He lost a lot of weight just from being able to do wall laps! I personally wouldn't be too concerned about 10g, just keep an eye on him.
