weening question

Hello, I have been trying to ween my hedgehog off the food the people I bought him from had him on. I have innova light and he loves it. The problem is, he HATES the food he came with. I thought he wasn't eating for a long time but he just hates the food he was on. When I put a little of the innova in the bowl with the old food (the old food is in a clear bag and I don't even know what it is) he eats just the innova and won't touch the other stuff. So i guess my question is do I just give up and start him on the innova without the old food? or is there a way I can ween him off gradually? Thanks for any help.

If he won't eat the old stuff there isn't much you can do. You can continue to offer it to him and throw it away when you give him fresh food. Or give up on it and start looking for other foods to add to the Innova so that you have a mix.
