I am working on my website and would like to hear what people like to see as options on sites regarding the "our chins" section.

I like to see everything. A site I visit frequently has the name, color, and awards. Below that would be nice to see other information (if there is any.) That is my opinon!

I like pictures, the breeder and any awards won.

Personally, I think I have too much on my pages, especially now that I have more chins to list. I think I will go with a picture, the breeder, and awards when I update my site. The bios I think are too much and make it difficult when updating my pages.

I think it depends on what you are there for. If I was interested in buying a kit, I would want to see all the typical info on the parents, as well as some personal info about each one, like personality or quirks.

For myself when I am looking for a breeder, I like to see the photo, ped, show results and judges comments.
If I where to look for a pet, none of the above would matter to me except to get a chinchilla from a reputable breeder.

I like to read over pretty much everything, but that's because I'm a creep with nothing else to do. I think the next-to-last option would be best, although you could include special traits unique to each chinnie if you wanted. That would be cool.

I think just the basics would be good with the amount of chinnies you have: name, pic, DOB, lines, and show results. If you include too much info you'll spend way too much time updating your site. Maybe try and think of something unique to put on your site that make people want to keep coming back. I just added a Growth Chart to my nursery page... not anything major or hard to update, but it's kinda fun to see the weight progression of the babies...

Good luck. I look forward to checking it out when you are up and running.
