posts like this always get me choked up. i havent been here for long and ive been so scared of doing something wrong when it comes to Gizmo. but you all have always offered advice and support in the most respectful and helpful way. thats more than i can say for most people i know in real life.

i sign on multiple times a day (even more than facebook) just to see if anyones posted pics or if i can even help in the slightest to answer someones question (though im still new myself). and to be honest, every night at playtime, i wonder "how many other chin parents are at play time right now?" lol

today i fought with my mom over money issues and i know shes a bit upset i bought gizmo back in May. but when he came to sit on my head, he reminded me that it was worth it and then i remembered you all who have helped me and everyone else on this forum.

so youre right laurie, we're all family. i hope i can be less shy now

I wonder who I am in the family. Probably the crazy aunt that never gets enough attention and always begs everyone to come over to listen to her stories that everyone has already heard 1000 times....

I'm ALMOST old enough to be a matriarch, but I don't quite have Peggy's experience or wisdom.

However, AZChins, I think that I'M the crazy Auntie Lynn that loves to tell her stories to everyone and snuggle everyone's chinnies!!!

It's true, I consider some of the people on this forum to be "real" friends, even though I've never met them in person, and I refer to them as such when I have conversations with people about my chinchillas.

Ah be less shy. If you say something silly, someone will correct you. Just remember to not take it too personally. I think that is the biggest problem we have on the forum is people take things too personally when in all honestly we are all here because we love the same animal(s) and just want to do our best to help out. Fortunately many of us have built very good friendships along the way.

That is so true. Some people in here wish me happy birthday while people in "real life" that are suposed to be my friend didn't even remember. It's always nice the suport or advice you get from here when you're in a tough spot. I remember a great deal of people tring to make me feel better after my break up (I think it was on CnQ, I'm not sure).
