Water Buddy Question

I know these have been discontinued, but I was hoping people still had them and someone could answer my question.

Are the Water Buddies Dishwasher safe? I'm not sure because being plastic I'd think they'd melt but they are made of a thicker plastic so wasn't 100% sure.

I use the water buddies and I imagine on the top self where you would put plastic cups they would be fine. I just put mine to soak in extra hot soapy water and use a bottle brush. I also clean them at least once a week, most often twice so there is really no time for build up. I love them!

I put mine in the dishwasher on the top shelves, light cycle, and double rinse. The only thing is that they end up turning oblique and the brass turns greenish (tarnished). I don't hand wash because I have 25 bottles.

I also have extra to replace these in the near future.

Oh. The brass turning green would probably bug me so I guess I'll just keep hand washing them.

I've got a few extras as well.
