virgin cork bark

[Mt. Zion Chins]

I had a person who is getting a chin from me ask about 'virgin cork bark'. Her dad had the idea of using it for a hidey hole. I never even heard of it. She said she tried to research it and 1 'place' said it is ok for chins. What do you think??

I would say no. Cork comes from the cork oak tree (the bark). Oaks are a no no for chins not to mention that cork expands (impaction hazard)
It's also very soft and would be shredded instantly by chins.
