Glad to hear your chinny is doing better. I have a malo rescue here and she goes through filings never clippings. I would question the vet. The vet always sends her home with pain killers, medicam and 1 more other meds that I can't think of the name. I have to hand feed for about 1 week. What I do normally is 30 minutes before I hand feed her, I would give her the pain meds, than feed later. Seems to take down the food better. Good luck and keep a good eye. Malo chins are stressful, but to know you're providing the care and giving them a chance it's all worth it.
