Well, Peggy has been addicted to Youtube and the other day we were watching/listening to this video. I have never heard of this man but the video is very touching but in a such a beautiful way. I think that is the best version ever of that song too.

I sent it to Mum and forgot to include the link - LOL. She was disappointed then but she doesn't want to watch it becauuse I told her it was sad - After her Dad, my Granda dying and now over the rainbow that probably why. So beautiful.

I'll be quiet and let you guys watch it now...Give your comments.Does it make you think of your lost loved ones who are over the rainbow?

Make sure to watch the video...It has an excellent ending!

Mae this man is Israel Kamakawiwo'ole a famous Hawaiian singer, his nickname is Iz. He died I think more than 10 years ago. This song has been featured in lots of movies because it's such a touching version of Over the Rainbow. I know Peggy is addicted to Youtube but not Jason Castro from last year's American Idol, BUT Jason did sing this version of Over the Rainbow and it was AWESOME!

I know someday we will all be over the rainbow and sometimes I long for that day--how nice to be reunited with our love ones who have long since crossed over.

:tissue: Every time I hear his version of this song, tears well up and my make-up runs down my face. The first time I heard it was when my daughter's pre-school teacher used it to make DVD's for us parents at their pre-school graduation. The song was in the background and the pictures she used was of all of our children doing various things in the classroom. It was so touching, see I'm starting to cry all over again....gotta go get a tissue.

my sister used that song for her wedding, her hubby is Hawaiian =)

I remember first hearing this version when Dr. Greene died on ER. It is by far my favorite.
I have to agree with Laurie on the being reunited with loved ones over the rainbow. Someday my Heaven awaits...

I absolutely love this song!!!!! It moves me every time I hear it!!

I had this version/song play during my wedding, as a memorial for my grandparents who had passed away. I love it, though it also makes me cry every time I hear it.
