So I found this online, and I was struck at how beautiful these pictures were. I thought I would share them with you.

Fifteen-year-old photographer Marlin Shank was fortunate enough to capture several images of a rare albino ruby-throated hummingbird while in a park in Staunton, Va

hahah thats awesome 3Cs!! My great-grand parents had a bird feeder outside their house, two of them in fact. I use to love watching them chase each other away to get to the nectar. One of my favourite memories was when My Nonnie told me to just told the feeder in a slightly out stretched hand, which I did. Pretty soon, the humming birds would come and sit and drink the nectar that I held in my hands. It was so amazing.

Isn't it amazing how animals will lose their fear of humans when food is involved? ;) My grandmother on the other side (not the VA family, I mean) had a hummer feeder too. I used to get dive-bombed on the way onto her porch. They sound like little torpedos (or REALLY big bees)!
