We will be going to the melting pot, our favorite restaurant, and this is our first valentine's day as husband and wife. I am so excited.

We will be doing absolutely nothing. My sister-in-law is due the day after Valentine's, and on the 16th, Emma goes in to the cardiologist. :(

I have to go to my husband's nieces' b-day party, so much fun. :SarcasmOn:

Who plans their child's party on Valentines Day?!?! I guess it is basically a Hallmark Holiday anyway and the true essence of it is something not confined to one particular day....

We are celebrating vday on the Thursday before, because my guy has to work until midnight (or probably later) on the day of. He has a BIG surprise for me that my mom is in on.. but no one will tell me or give me hints! I know he asked if he it was okay if I missed my late class on Thursday night and my early class on Friday morning, so I know it's going to be something overnight... hmm..

I've gotten him two gifts that I KNOW he's going to love, because he is absolutely obsessed with the Detroit Red Wings.. I can't wait to see his face!!

I saw a giant stuffed hedgehog in a store here, holding a heart. I pointed it out to Adam and "hinted" that if he was planning to do anything for Valentines Day, all I wanted was that stuffed animal. He slipped up and said he was working on something special for me, so we'll see.

He told me that Valentines Day wasn't about the guy, so not to get him anything. I plan to get him a bunch of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (he loves them) and maybe a fancy bottle of alcohol he never buys for himself.

He will likely be working 9am-8pm so I will be alone most of the day. I'm not really "into" Valentine's day. Last year he made me a card.

This year oreos, a DVD and some drinks are sounding like a good night.

I'm not too sure...money is kinda tight right now and the next two moths are gonna be kinda pricy so I think maybe a bottle of some nice liquor, a movie and I'll cook his favorite, spicy chicken parm

I wanted to get him something though, any ideas for guy gifts???

LoL. One year we went to San Francisco and took the haunted tour of Alcatraz on Valentine's Day. Creepy enough, the whole day was sold out. Who knew that going to an abandoned prison on an island would be so romantic?

For our one year anniversary (which was October 29th last year) we went to a haunted house attraction. Needless to say I had ALOT of fun, we are going to do it again this year. :p

I'll just be sitting back and relaxing with a couple of friends. I'm sending my friend--who-could-possibly-be-more who is in South Korea for the army a package and hopefully I'll be able to talk to him via Skype or phone.

I just found out today that we will be celebrating on Friday night after I get out of class. :heart3: The year before last I got a summer trip to the Bahamas for Valentines Day, last year I got my promise ring, so we'll see what happens,

We'll likely be going out for dinner & then seeing a movie :) Our typical Valentines Day event. This year money is a little tight since we're moving, saving for a wedding & a new house so we're using our Christmas gift cards! :D Red Lobster & AMC Theatres here we come!

I also usually get flowers, so we'll see what kind he brings home this year :heart3: It's our first Valentine's Day engaged so he'll probably do something a little bit special.

The good ole' dinner and a movie. It doesn't matter to me as long as we can spend time together.

I have such a wonderful story for Feb 14th!!!

This is my bf's grandmother's 80 birthday. They are re-creating her sweet 16 birthday party! How sweet is that?!?

I'll gladly give up my man on Valentine's day so that he can be with his grandma!!
(We are celebrating on the thursday though, lol)

I don't know what I'm doing. I usually don't see him on Sat, his laundry day, and he lives 40 miles away, but I'm hoping he makes an exception.

haha, I don't like Valentines Day very much. Not for any reason except I think it's sort of dumb, lol. Anyhow, I probably won't do much. My mom will probably make a special breakfast for us....and that's about it :)

Not sure what I'll be doing. Probably hang out :p My birthday is the next day and my sisters are throwing me a party :)

Lol last night we had a change of plans!

We're either going out for a nice breakfast & then to the Toronto Auto Show OR Auto Show in the morning and then Red Lobster for dinner (who knows, maybe a movie too).

Either way it wil be a good day since we'll still be together.

What are you doing for Valentines Day?

AH! I just had to brag, I'm so proud of him. James has decided to be a super sweet heart and take me to my FAVORITE RESTURANT! I haven't been there in TWO YEARS! He even told me to go ahead, call and make reservations so we wouldn't have to stand in line and wait cause as he put it 'This is your day and you're going to be princess' Ah, I love that boy. Then he's taking me to see a romantic movie...Drum roll please...
Friday 13th.
So maybe it isn't romantic lol, got you thinking it though huh? THEN! He's taking me to the mall because I like to walk around (Especially when I've just had a big dinner) and then we're going to get a nice hotel room at which ever hotel has an indoor swimming pool (I love to swim) so we can have some privacy til he gets his place. Oh he's treating me to some VERY good things. And just when you think things can't get any better, oh boy do they! After we wake up on Sunday, he's taking me out for breakfast, taking me to Petsmart for a chinnie shopping spree, then taking me where ever else my heart desires. What a man, what a man!
So what is everyone else doing for Valentines Day?
