Yes, maybe the historical significance of today is not really known well or has much to do with romantic relationships but I hope you all had a happy day!!

It's nice to see couples being happy and even though I'm pretty much single (long story...actually, I don't even know the story so we're all lost there) and I got a package from Alli today so that was all the valentine awesomeness I needed. I started playing with Chloe and feeding her twigs and whatnot (I got a couch and am going to set it up in her temp cage in a couple weeks) Her fluffiness can do wonders for the spirit!! I do want to sincerely apologize, as my camera seems to be permanently broken. I'll get some pics in a couple weeks though when I'm home!

So I hope all you couples had a nice day and didn't get into any fights over someone forgetting something and I hope all you single people had a nice day because well, it was a nice day and there's no excuse needed to be randomly happy. So go do something nice for yourself, watch some good TV, eat a hot pocket or choco taco, roll around the floor with your dog/cat etc. Personally, I went to the store and bought chocolate and two tubs of ice cream and didn't feel guilty about it at all since people could think I'm getting them for someone else but in reality it's ALL going in my stomach and mine alone. Really it's been a banner night for me if I do say so myself.

That's a sweet post Caiti! I hope you have a fabulous night and enjoy your ice cream and chocolate. :D

This is my husband and I's 13th Valentine's Day together. In years past, I have really tried to make it something special (much to his chagrin, since he views it as a "Hallmark holiday".) I think the holiday is an excuse to show appreciation for those you love! This year, however, we are taking it easy. I actually canceled our dinner reservations and sitter in part because I really wanted to clean the chinnie cages! I cleaned them and now feel so much better. Its rainy outside here, so we are eating soup and snuggling in our jammies. We'll put the kids to bed and maybe watch a movie. Not romantic, but sometimes that's love.

Darn, wish I would have seen this soon. I would have got me some ice cream. Darn!

I spent the day at home babysitting (and I got the something for Valentines). They loved them. Oh, and we made cupcakes. Valentines Day cupcakes. =D
And played outside :D

Haha, pretty fun day!
