My twins are turning ten this February. I noticed that the smaller one seems to be tinier than usual and less coordinated. He still bounces off the shelves and cage walls but I notice that he's less coordinated and falling more, or not landing as smoothly. He used to never fall. I see him falling off several shelves too and lands awkwardly. He'll pause then continue again. I'm afraid he's hurting himself. He also lost some hair behind his neck.

I took him to a vet who suggested separating them. They've been separated a week and he hasn't really gained weight and it's too soon to tell about the hair. The vet said arthritis could be a factor with the lack of coordination. He just seems more slouchy lately, too.

Any suggestions? I don't know what to do.

Thanks. :temp:  :cry3:

Chins have strokes just like humans, inner ear issues can also cause that problem. For the here and now remove all the shelves so he can't further hurt himself.
