hey
me again. just wanted to ask about pine shelves.
I've been looking around for pine to make shelves for my chinchillas but all i have been able to find was pine that seems to be pressed or glued together not quite pressed but like pieces stuck together to make it broader. The people at the shop said the pine isn't chemically treated at all but i'm a little worried cause i'm scared it's glued together. On the label there was a K and i assume it means it's kiln dried but still not sure about the fact that it's one piece but you can see the different lines on it...
Can anybody maybe help me please.

Do you know what type of glue they used? If you go to Lowe's, you will find that it is called white wood or something with white in the name. It is not called Pine. And it is also stamped normally with KD, which means kiln dried. I hope that helps. I honestly wouldn't risk the glue, but I know some types are non-toxic.
