Sorry to bring this up since it is really horrible.
Out where I live we are all still in shock because it hits so close to home. Our Congresswoman was shot in the head along with many others at a little political event she was holding in front of a grocery store in Tucson.
A little girl died, a federal judge, one of Gabby's aides died, as did some older folks that were just there to talk to their congresswoman. It could have happened to any of us that live out here. Heck, if I had been in the area, I may have stopped to say hello to her.
We've all been very sad and angry. I know I have been! I'm praying that Gabrielle and the other victims will recover and make it through this. And, also that justice is swift for the psycho, who shot everyone.
Right now she's in critical condition but they are saying she is a miracle. She held up two fingers and gave a thumbs up! When I heard about that I cried. She could make it after being shot in the head, that's amazing. The fact that they were able to get her to head trauma specialists so quickly is amazing - I think she was being treated within a half hour of the whole thing.
Please keep all the shooting victims and Tucson in your thoughts. Gabrielle is a very nice woman and she never did anything to deserve this. The innocent people people that were in the wrong place at the wrong time didn't deserve it.
I found out on Saturday at 6 pm when I was up in Phoenix and I have been in shock ever since. I know so many people that live in the area and was so worried. As far as I know all my friends and customers are alright, thank God.
