I'm not sure if my female chin was trying to spray me or if there is something wrong. She stood up on her back feet and was kind of pulling in her belling and thrusting her hips outward. She did this a few times and I puleed her out of the cage to check her. The platform she was on had wet spots on it where she was standing. Was it pee? She doesn't seem to be acting ny differently and when I checked her genital area (thinking there may be something wrong there) it looked fine. She is eating and jumping around normally but I'm kind of worried. Can anyone help?

Consider yourself warned. Chins rarely "try" to spray. Urinary issues don't express themselves this way.

I don't know what ticked her off so much that she felt the need to "spray". Maybe she was mad that my boyfriend was there. She has never sprayed before but he doesn't interact with her much. So maybe that was it?

Thank you! Like I said she has never sprayed before and nothing actually "sprayed" out, just kind of dribbled so I wasn't sure.

are you sure that your female is a female and not a male? That sounds like a male - 'just kind of dribbled' Female don't dribble - they aimed and fire and never miss

I have to agree with Barb. Females don't dribble. They are pretty darn good at aiming when they spray.

My BOYS all do this, try to spray but just dribble. Standing on hind legs, pelvis out, dribble on the shelf. I don't have any females to compare it to though, the one female I did have never sprayed.

I'm positive that she is female, not a male. She had kits last year, but her uterus prolapsed and she had to be spayed. So no SHE is not a male. :)
