My 8 year old chinchilla got 2 molars trimmed in December as they were overgrown. Dr did not do x rays, but said it would be every year or so to re trim. I’ve seen him swat at his mouth a few times since but not every day or very often, usually once or twice in a week. Are the molars already grown too long again, or am I overthinking it and my chinchilla is just cleaning his nose?
