Okay, well I went to a summer camp for 5 days so my mom and dad watched my chin for me while i was gone. The first day they gave my chin 6 treats! (they are very small, tree together are the size of a raisin) I called to check on her and then i told them she was only supposed to have two! She hasnt had diarrea but i am wondering if it will make her sick. It was last monday, but i am just makeinng sure. they treats are small cubes of dried papaya

Your chin will be fine as long as that number of treats does not become a habit. By what you have said, you don't plan on it doing so.

I also think it depends on what the treats are?

Obviously by now your chin will be okay, as they're out of the system. But depending on the treat, you may want to cut back either way.

I use to have the same problem with my dad. Until I continuously told him that to many treats weren't good for them. Then I hide the treats where I knew he wouldn't look, all except their treats for that day. after giving them their treats, if they were still begging he'd give them a toy.

Now he doesn't even try to give them more than one treat.

Wood chews are a great idea for giving treats. I've also just had people give one old-fashioned rolled oat at a time as treat too.

Another thing you can do is to give your chin/chins pieces of hay as treats. You can't overdue it with hay and by giving them the hay from your hand the chinchilla knows that you are going out of your way to give them something special. I know a piece of hay is not the same as a raisin or papaya but they will appreciate it.
