My one cage has mother Sophie and two daughters Sophia and Ameana. The daughters are still young. Born in february. And naturaly, their grown pretty good.

Now i have a cage of two male chin, a cage of two ferrets, and another cage of two ferrets in addition to the cage of girls. And the girls are clearly going through water fast then any of em.

Even when i had mommy, daddy, and first son together they didnt go through nearly as much. But the girls are going through a full water bottle a day.
Their bottle

I no some of it leaks a little bit. They get ruff when they start bouncing off the cage walls. But their taking in the majority. Each day the litter looks like it hasnt been changed in a week.

For animals that generaly dont drink a whole lot... their drinking a lot. Everything else seems perfectly fine, but could this cause any problems?

(problems other then them going crazy in the cage and making it leak then trying to rest directly under it that is /grin)

If you don't see anything else out of the ordinary, I don't think it's anything to worry about. I have three chins, all caged separately, and they drink vastly different amounts of water. For three chins to go through a water bottle in a day isn't anything to sneeze at.
