I have two chins (standard grey and pink white) last year, and they got well with each. And this September, I got a new male chin (dark ebony), and put them together. For the first 3 months, they were getting very well with each other. But suddenly the pink white one acted crazily with no reason. He started chasing the standard grey one and dropped lots of furs from him. I just want to know can they be together any more? How can I do to make them together? Thank you!

This is in my experience what happens to trios after being together for awhile. They may do fine at first, but for whatever reason after a few months they just do not work out anymore. This is why I always recommend against trios.

I would separate the pink white and put him in a cage by himself. Anytime I notice a chin being aggressive, I don't give them anymore chances. Having lost several chins due to fights, I just don't risk it anymore.

The other two may be able to stay together. You'll just have to keep an eye on them and see. Sometimes after a chin is bullied/gets attacked, they get scared and/or defensive and won't enjoy having a cage mate anymore.

My trio lasted around 6 months, two decided the third one was voted off the island and they hated each other and never recovered to play together.

I've had up to six male chins live happily together and I've had where three is one too many. I think it just depends on the chins.

If the pink white is acting aggressively, separate him before a fight can happen.

I've had trios that worked well for years and years, and some that did fine for a while but then no longer did. You just need to be attentive to their behavior and body language and intervene before something major happens. Now is the time to split the pink white away from the group.

The pink white one just keeps bothering the standard grey one. And I think everyone in the cage doesn't like him. Whenever he comes close to others, the other chins make noise and run away...

He is being voted off the island, he needs to be alone or he could be seriously hurt of killed.
