I was on youtube watching videos of chinchillas when i found this.I wish i knew where this person lives. I would take his chinchilla in a heart beat. I may not be a expert on chinchillas since im a new owner. But i can tell when one isn't taken care of. People need to reseach before owning a pet and dumb people shoun't breed. This poor thing is gonna die the way its treated

This video has been discussed before. You never see the chinchilla in the water and the owner states repeatedly that the chinchilla receives dust baths and is dried thoroughly when it is wet and it never went in the water at the park.

If you notice, those people are speaking portuguese, so they are either in Brazil or Portugal, there would be no way to take them away from them :(

Like tab said it has been discussed and Legally animals are property. They can do what they want and will continue to do so

Oh my gosh! The poor thing looked miserable!! :( I feel so bad for it and wish we could do something about it! You could just see in its eyes it was crying for help!

That poor thing! He looks horrible! Don't the owners know that chins can't be taken to parks!!!!!!! UGGGGGHHHH!!!!! That poor chin coould get heat stroke....those owners have serious problems....even though they probably don't realize what they are doing they should have done research before!

Actually it would be illegal to take it away, that's called stealing. You can't take things from people unless they want to get rid of them. Personally I've seen worse things, not saying it's right, and I don't know why the chin was wet, maybe there is a good reason, maybe it's not hot out ( everyone is assuming it is ), there are always maybe's... and I don't read nor speak Portuguese...

A lot of the crap he says in response to people complaints is wrong (he says they are highly adaptive since they come from an area that is cold in the winter and hot in the summer), but while we do no agree with how he treats the animal, it seems to trust him and looks healthy besides being wet.
