This is Ansem!

This is the newest addition to my chin family..I got him yesterday from Crysta at Spoiled Rotten Chinchillas!

Thanks Crysta for allowing me to adopt him and make him part of our family!

I did not want to stress him out further so more pics will come as he settles in!

There's my baby! How is he doing? He's making cranky faces for the camera. lol

Is he using the litter box? With me he just liked to pee in his hammock. Silly chin. Since he isn't a plastic chewer I was hoping the litter box would curb the hammock peeing.

Yeah, he was not happy about being woke up for pics..lol He is doing so good though. Whenever I come into the room he pokes his head out of the top hole of his house and looks at me. Of course, he then ducks back inside really fast!

Since you told me about the hammock peeing thing, I have been watching for it, but he has been using the litter pan so far. There was very little to no poos in the bottom of the cage either, but his litter pan was FULL! So I emptied it and out in new litter for him.

He is going to get his first play time since yesterday, tonight after dinner. He has a huge room to play in right now, and I am going to try and get pics for you..let's hope he cooperates!

:thumbsup: It's too small for him to roll around in and this allows him to have all the hay he wants at the same time..And with all the commercial hay holders out there that can be dangerous, this was the safest way to go, in my opinion.
