All seems to be going right in my world lately. I had 2 job interviews today, both of which went very well. My last one I landed a working interview with this Saturday and if I get it, I will become an ICU Tech at an exotics hospital in Cave Creek! They also have one of only a handful of CT Scanners in the state of Arizona and they have the latest of technology. Screw my last job, this is where I need to be.

In addition to that, I will be alleviated of all my jaw pain/ headaches tomorrow once and for all. Tomorrow morning I go into surgery to have my bone impacted wisdom teeth removed. I had to take a Valium tonight in preparation for tomorrow and I also have to take on in the morning. Let's just say, I feel really good, like really really good. I think at one point I told my mom that I "feel like pudding." Ahhh, so it begins. I will be sure to post some awesome videos of my incoherent self.

Wish me luck!

That's great to hear! I was hoping things were going better for you! Heh. I bet it feels good to feel like pudding :D Good luck with the job, it sounds like a good one to have!

Oh man...I wanna see you all wacked out on happy drugs! :p

I hope you get that job and I really, really hope that you can get through that surgery. We can take you out on Saturday, if you want...I don't know if you'll be able to eat anything though.

hahaha know of any soup places? And have you heard anything chinchilla wise about Animal Health Services in Cave Creek?

Yeah, they all seemed very nice and receptive of new people which is good. It's very structured there too.

Try to start icing yourself as soon as you leave the dentist as it will reduce swelling and help you heal. This really helped me. For now enjoy being like pudding and when this is all done you will be feeling a lot better.

Also good luck on getting the job!

I'm back from my surgery. Everything went well minus the Dr. trying to get my iv in place. Apparently my veins are hard to find. First he tried my right elbow pit and couldn't get it. Then he tried my left elbow pit and couldn't get it. Then he tried putting it in my wrist veins and that hurt like a mother and I am now bruised there because he blew my vein. Then he tried in my right hand and I guess it worked because he asked me if the butterflies on the ceiling were moving and I said no, so he gave me more, then all of a sudden I was dreaming about a roller coaster and then I kind of remember them telling me to set my butt down first, then I woke up In another room with a blanket on me. I was so groggy and walked out to the car where I got sick twice. Now I'm home, still numbed up, but my right bottom hurts sooooo bad right now. I just cant wait until I can feel my tongue again.

I hope that you heal up soon. It took me over a week to feel like a human being again after mine were removed...and the pain killer made me retain water, so I gained 10 lbs that week...it was strange.

Just take it easy and don't try to eat too much. It really, really hurts to eat. :(

Awww Brit,I know you feel right now. I had mine out a few years ago..well 18 years anyway..and I felt exactly the same way. My advice is this: No Straws! Do not try and drink out of straws because it can cause dry pockets which hurt like a mother. ( experience speaking here )

Ice down your face every hour or so too! it will help both with pain and swelling. and do not forget to rest, rest, rest! Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks. Yeah the bleeding has stopped so no more gauze in my mouth. Now I'm just waiting for my bottom lip to start regaining feeling so I can talk and not drool on myself.
