Thought good things only happened to good people-

Had a surrender (it was being watched for a few days that turned into a few months) and the woman says "if you ever need anything". Over the next couple weeks she kept saying let me know what I can do- so I did. Our wish list was 4 chinspins and 50lb of dust. She just sent me the order confirmations.

We can and do take good care of our fosters, but this really helps. It didn't really sink in till I saw the confirmations. So many say and so few ever...

Thank you, Gia L. You won't see this, but people should know of your generosity.

Wow! That was a very generous donation. Congrats to you!

I think that it's great that you shared this person's generosity. We hear so much of the bad, it's good to hear great news too!

It's an amazing feeling to have others help. I feel thankful every time someone comes up and donates something to my rescue whether it is a used dog bed or a packet of frontline.

Congrats <3

Up here in Quebec have a saying probably you have this saying also... and I really believe and have experienced it.
It's ¨The law of Return¨, guess you must of been doing right and good. :0)

That is really cool, I wish more people helped like that, I would be lucky to get a box of raisins and some year old hay (yay!) with a rescue. Usually they come in a box. Good things do happen and there are still great people out there, I think we all need to show it more often though.

Around here we call it "paypray it forward". I had no idea about the kindness of complete strangers before I had my last bout with cancer. We had cards, prayers and donations of completely anonymous money from people who heard about what we were going through. One person that works with my husband gave her flight miles to us to cover our flight to Sloan Kettering in New York and back. My co-workers held raffles and suppers to help our family during this time. Our church family was unbelievable.Since then my husband and I do all we can to pay/pray it forward. Sometimes its not much, but we do whatever we can to help out. Our agreement between us is that it be done anonymously with only the request that someday when able that they in some way help someone else by "paying/praying it forward":wink2:

That is really awesome. You are absolutely right, good things do happen to good people. All of the help you provide in taking in this surrender and others like it is wonderful.

wow that's great! You should take a few pics of the chins enjoying their new toys and send them to her in a card. I think it's amazing when you find that good people actually are left in this world
