The Weight, Part Deux

I wrote a thread a bit ago about my chin losing weight during the summer. She stabilized at a few grams shy of 560. She was consistent for months. Now, she has gained a tiny bit of weight!!!! I know this may seem trivial to everyone, and objectively, it very well may be but it makes me feel like I'm being a good chin mom when she's a little chunkier (in a healthy way). She's weighed:
9/19- 569.3
9/10- 560.5
9/21- 568.4

She's also been fluctuating more but I figured since it's been three days (I had to stop myself from posting on sunday, I really did) it has a glimmer of a chance of being a gain she'll stick with. And her low range is even high for her!!!!! The last time she weighed that much (aside from one day when she had gas, then she lost weight) was July 2nd!!

Background--she was once 603 in early May, but was most likely around 530 when I got her in February (if that). I have her weights from when I got her to her highest in a thread about fatties (god love 'em) and her weights from her highest to early July in The Weight, also a couple weights in a thread I wrote when she had gas recently (titled "I don't know what to do" or something dramatic like that). So you guys have most of my notebook as it stands, hah.

As of last night, she's up to 580 (well, technically a half a gram shy)!!!!!!!! I wonder if she'll put on enough to regain her crown of glorious fattiness.

I know, I know--no one reads this thread but me but I just had to post that she's at 582.5!! She's been gaining for two weeks!! yippeeee!!!!!!!!

Hey that's pretty good! What kind of scale do you have that weighs in 1/2 grams? Mine is in 1 gram increments.

Thanks! It's a digital scale by AWS. It actually weighs in tenths of a gram, but Chloe just happened to be at exactly .5 a few times. I just put a pyrex bowl on it because the platform isn't quite big enough to get all of her on it (it's like 4"x4" at the most), haha.

My chin looks like he's gained since I got him but I haven't been weighing him. Shame on me. I'll fix that shortly.

Aaaawwwww, thanks guys!! I was thinking maybe she just loses weight in the summer and gains weight when it gets colder out. Only time will tell since I've only had her for one summer. At least then I'll know and won't freak out every summer thinking she's sick!

DevnChip--I got mine off amazon. Knowing me it couldn't have been much more than 20 bucks and I read all the reviews on it (I went for a delicate balance of quality and price, heh). I have thought it's crapped out on me a couple times, but it's holding steady.

As of last night she's up to 595!!

Does anyone else's chin gain or lose weight relatively quickly when the seasons change? I'm guessing this might be what her fluctuation is from. Everytime she loses or gains a significant amount, her food or anything else hasn't changed.
