Today was ... hot. (Actually the hottest day of the year)

Went to check on Stevie and noticed the cage was very messy.
"Cleaning time" I thought.

First take of the blanky, chewing wood, climbing branch.
Throw away the bedding, clean the pan, new bedding.
Clean and refill her waterbottle also new pellets.
And last but not least clean the shelves.

Took about half an hour but I was happy with the result.

Afterwards I'd let her toy around for a bit in the room.

Back in her cage I watched her, proud of my work, sweaty but proud!

Altough this doesn't last forever ;) and 5 minutes later a shelve has pellets on it.
Her blanky has fallen off.
Wood snippers everywhere.

And in a corner, on the top shelf, lies Stevie.
Tired but happy.

JUST ANOTHER DAY WITH STEVIE

I know that feeling all too well. LOL We work so hard making it nice and they work so hard putting it back the way they like it.

Oh she is the sweetest! They are very particular about their cages! I noticed when I think I am "cleaning things up" they just move everything back how they like it. Gotta love chinnies!!
