When your loved ones pass do not think that is the end of them.....They are very capable of letting you know that they are there and watching you. We told Granda to give plenty of signs and he couldn't be more different (As he was in real life too, LOL) when giving signs to us. Mainly to Mum though, I have yet to see him or see him in any other form. And yes, of course they can make you see them. Spirits are very powerful but not sure you will feel that way until you actually experience it.

So those of you worried about losing your loved ones. Don't worry, they will be with you just as much as they were before.

Here's one of Granda's first messages anyway. My sister (She chats to my Mum but hasn't chatted to me yet? Ah well. I think she is trying to work her way back into the family. Atleast Granda can see what EVERYONE is REALLY like now.)

Anyway, she was at the airport after Grandas funeral mass, and at his funeral mass we played...''Remember Me'' a beautiful song but can't find it online now and not going to ask Mum who it is by incase I make her cry. The words in it were so relevant, unbelievable.

Of course, Granda decided he would mess up the CD, worked everytime but that one time, lol...SO, Michael seen this book at the Airport when going back to Scotland from Ireland afterwards...Called 'Remember me' with a WHOLE bookstand to itself.

Look at this picture very closely to see if you can see anything unusual!!! Okay, I have already showed you :)

Michael never seen this until she sent it to Mum via email and Mum told her!

Happened awhile ago but thought I would share. I would share more stories with Granda visiting but you may not believe them. Anyone else have any experiences with the other side? Share........

His death has not sunk in yet.....Think it is starting a little tiny bit now though. :cry3:

I don't deny the existence of supernatural stuff, but I think a lot of what people say is their own brain trying to deal with the loss of a loved one.

The movie coming up, A Haunting in Connecticut, is based on a true story that scared the heck out of me as a kid.

Lots of hugs Mae.

I do believe they come back to us and make sure we are okay, and let us know that they are okay.

We lost a dear family friend awhile back. He was only 17. I had a dream about him, and he told me he was alright. It really settled my mind, and my heart.

My mom died of a brain tumor nearly 2 years ago. Mostly she leaves us alone as I asked her to, but let me share this story. She died early in the morning at our home after being in a coma about 2 weeks. Long story short, we were tired and hungry and decided to go out to eat late that night. I used a public bathroom twice that day and both times the lock on the door came unlocked, and no it wasn't a malfunctioning door lock. On a side note I "told mom" I know we go out for celebratory dinner outings but I promise this wasn't one of those. Aw, she was my best friend even though we fought like cats and dogs sometimes.

My grandmother was... difficult, at the best of times, and of course terminal cancer didn't help that in her last years. For her last week before she went to the hospital, she stayed with my aunt S. and uncle R. because my mother's house (a 10 minute car trip from her own) "wasn't good enough" even though my mother still had to do most of Grandmother's errands/care/chores while she was staying with my aunt.

So, just before Christmas, she passed, which brought that whole side of my family into town right at the holiday. It wasn't until a couple of weeks after everyone had left and Aunt S. had expected her house to be back under *her* control, that she noticed the basement light was always on. Their basement, I should mention, is essentially a rec room/den with a tv, my cousin's video games, a pool table, and a small wet bar. Most of the time my grandmother was in their house, she was at that bar. At first, she thought Uncle R. or my cousin had gotten into the habit of leaving the light on so someone going downstairs to get a drink didn't trip over the cat/laundry/stairs, but even after she'd scolded both of them to turn the darn light off, it still ended up 'on' all the time, even after my aunt *knew* she'd turned it off. Finally she mentioned this light thing to my mother, who has always believed in a spirit's ability to do things we can't quite understand. So my mother suggested the next time Aunt S. noticed the light, she tell Grandmother to stop it, they got the point. One night she did, and the light stayed off... she just started getting blank messages on her answering machine.

Yeah, my grandmother was kind of persistent in life too.

I believe there is an after life. My mother was comatose for 7 yrs. Towards the end I was with her every day. Thinking I would be there with her at the end. The last day she was alive, I walked in and about lost it. I knew it her time was close. A nurse comforted me, and told me she could be like this another day or two. I went home to feed the kids, and was getting ready to head back up. A friend of ours was at the house, and I had this weird feeling. I asked him what time it was, and he said 5:08. Four minutes later I got a phone call from the nursing home, saying my Mother had just passed. I asked what time she died, and they said 5:08. Some say coincidence, but I knew she was with me, and knew I couldn't handle seeing her pass. So yes I think a part of them is capable of letting us know they are there.
