The Boom continues!

We had not one, but FOUR babies born today! I noticed my one female that I've been waiting on for two weeks was in labor. Well...after watching her for about a half an hour, I got up to leave the room and saw one of my other heavily pregnant females with a wet nose. Upon closer inspection, I found she'd snuck a baby out on me in the half hour I was staring at Ketamine! So, A8 was born today around 11:00am to Toffee Nut (black velvet) and Etcetera.

A8- e.g. standard male

THEN...I went to paint my new chinchilla room that is finally only a couple steps away from being ready for my chins. My friend and I decided to pop in to check on Ketamine and A8 before heading out there. Well, Ketamine had one wet baby under her and my friend got to watch her give birth to A10! So out of Ketamine and again...Etcetera (he apparently likes to breed, this is his third litter this year and there is one more on the way VERY soon).

I walked into the chin room this morning and my chinchilla watermellon finally gave birth. Triplets. My first "A's" of the year.

Congrats on the babies. I am patiently waiting 4 litters. They are all due the end of the week beginning of next week. My males are hovering over them so I know it is soon.
