Has your hedgie ever thrown a tempertantrum?
Squee is pretty concistent in his nightly activities. I always wake up to his toys re-arranged and usually just a little mess.
Yesterday however;
I decided to try something new with his cage.
Squee normally has a nest of fleecestrips, coozey'd up to his edible log. His toys and food on the other side of the cage.
This time after i cleaned his cage i put his log in the center, and completely removed his nest. I think it was incouraging him to be anti-social - always having a labyrenth of fleece to hide in.
Instead i gave him an oatmeal container full of fleece strips, and placed it half on its side and burried a little to be cave like.
WELL when i woke up this morning!.........
His log was turned over, his toys were all stuffed in his toilet paper rolls, the oatmeal container was on the otherside of the cage all the fleece strips were either burried, under the log or stuffed inside his waterdish. His food bowl was savaged (which Squee NEVER does) and also full of fleece strips. And when i asked him what he did to his cage - i just got a fury of squeaks and pops!
:rofl:
