Well, I know that they should be orange-ish in color. I was playing with Waldo and noticed that one of his upper front teeth is the right color, and the other is orange at the bottom third, but white on the top 2/3 or so. I gave him a piece of a cuttlebone... I guess I don't know what I'm asking here but what else can be done? and what would cause a tooth to only be partially orange?

He is doing really well, to all who are curious. He weighed in at 592 g when I brought him home and eats a lot : )

Chin teeth are like "tree rings" IMO, you can read them to determine health in the past couple of months to the present. The white part is a deficiency in CA most likely. Don't give him the cuddle bone every day, its best to give it a day, take it out for a couple of days and give it back and repeat. If he takes in too much calcium the body will remove calcium and he will be back in the same boat so by taking it out you give his body a chance to use up the calcium consumed. I actually prefer to use CA:pH 2:1 powder to supplement calcium, its a powder, tasteless and I can control the amount given.
