I've just been wondering about these two color variations and I have a question.Do both tan and brown velvet have the pink eyes and/or freckles??

Tans (beige wraps) are a cross between ebony and beige. The more ebony they carry, the darker they are. The belly should be the same color as the back (or a little lighter)

A brown velvet is a cross between a beige and a black velvet. The belly should be white.

Freckles are carried by the beige gene, so could be in both mutations. The pink eyes are usually found in animals that carry two beige genes, so neither of these mutations would have them.

Just to clarify, I think Becky means the jelly bean colored pink eyes are what are expressed by the chins that carry 2 beige genes (homo beiges, etc.) Brown velvets and tans will still have red eyes that can vary from very dark to lighter colored.
