where can you purchase sulfur at for the dust baths with fungus? my friend got fungus and has been using the tinactin but thinks she might need the sulfur and i dont know where to advise her to get it....

she saw some at a garden place but it said toxic and stuff on it, so i advised her to wait till i could get an answer.

Sulfur of flower is what you need to look for. I was told by another person on here that it helps, and a little goes a long way.

You can get it at your drug store. It's human grade and will be yellow. The stuff at the garden center is green and has .099% intert ingredients and smells like chemicals. Do not use the garden center variety. Also I'm told that farm supply stores have it as well but I haven't found it in any of the 6 farm supply stores around here.

Use 1/2 cup to 50 lbs blue cloud dust. You can cut down the portions of sulfur as the chins clear up - maybe to 1/4 cup.

Ronda can get it at her drug store. I can only find it at the feed stores here. It is a common fungicide used on racehorses, so I can get it in 1lb or 3lb containers.

That said, it's caustic stuff and expensive. Your friend should probably not be in the room when she dusts with it because it can burn. However it is safe to eat.
