One of my cages is the Ferret Nation 142 Model. I have one chin in the top, and two in the bottom, and the middle is closed off. As everyone knows the original pans have the cut-out, so I used a piece of sheet metal to block it. Well yesterday I'm assuming my guy on the top figured how to scoot it just barely an inch to stick his nose into the bottom of the cage. It wasn't enough for him to get any parts down there, maybe just a whisker or two, but everyone went COMPLETELY NUTS!!

When I noticed, I fixed the issue, and everything seemed fine. Now it seems as if they all know its there, so they still continue trying to get to each other, even though its completely blocked off.(And yes the middle divider is the solid one, not the one with the hole, so I don't have to worry about him going down, or them coming up.) And I'm not sure if would have anything to do with this, but one of my guys on the bottom is becoming quiet mean to his cage mate. Not physically hurting him but chasing his out of the hidey tube, off ledges, not allowing him to eat until hes finished, etc. None of this happened until yesterday. They used to be the best of buddies snuggling and loving all the time. None of the chins are new, and I'm pretty sure they've always know of each others existence. And the chin on top is also a male, so they're not fighting over a female. I really don't understand what the problem is.
