Strange mark on chins ear

Hi everyone, I just noticed one of my chins has a strange mark on his ear. There is a small white circle surrounded by a very dark area. Any idea what this could be? It almost looks like a puncture from the front but it doesn't go all the way through. You also cannot see the dark discoloration from the back. I will attach a photo but he was squirming so its not too clear. Thanks!

Has this just appeared recently, or has he had it for a while? Also is it raised, and/or growing larger?

I just saw it for the first time today and I'm positive I would have noticed it if it had been there for a while, I pay very close attention to any changes. The small white circle looked slightly raised but I checked again a few hours after posting and it was gone, replaced by a pink circle and the dark area around it appeared to have shrunk slightly. Any idea what this is? I can't seem to find anything like it on the Internet and he doesn't seem to be itching it at all

In truth I have no idea sorry.... the only thing I could think of was a bite, or maybe a small cyst.
Is your chin behaving and eating normally? Any lethargy or weight loss?

Sorry I don't have any answers... hopefully someone with a better idea will come along soon and comment.

No strange behavior at all, he doesn't even seem to notice it at all. I have been monitoring it and it seems to be a bit smaller and lighter colored. Hopefully it is nothing....
