SPAM - love it or loath it?

I've actually never tried it. It scares me. And man, those nutritional values are rather unappealing as well!

I found out at work tonight that you can get 4 cans of SPAM at Sam's club for only $9! woot! What a savings!!!!

I had a spam moco last night for dinner. fried spam with 2 fried eggs over rice with brown gravy. Hawaiian specialty.

Does it sit in a liquid within the can? Or does it just plop out of the can??

I don't know, I don't think I could eat it! Perhaps if it were in something, like fried with eggs or a sandwich.

This might just gross you out and scare you more but it has a jelly/liquid slimy stuff that it sits in within the can. Its probably just fat to preserve it. When its cooked it goes away though.

Laurie, we can take a hawaii trip just for the spam.

Okay I am going to be trying the SPAM experiment all next week! I am buying a butt load of SPAM and trying these recipes:
The SPAM and hashbrowns
the grilled SPAM, cheese and pineapple sandwich
I'm stealing the SPAM McGriddles idea
SPAM and broccolli salad you know the broccolli, bacon, cheese, raisin and onion salad!
SPAM and mac n cheese
baked SPAM and fruit cocktail
SPAM and ramen

I'm pretty dang excited!

Easy girl, there is enough fat and salt in your spam buffet to cause multiple organ failure. Spread the love out........
