Last evening, when I was hand delivering Trixie back to her cage after playtime, I got a bit distracted by my husband, and Trixie jumped at the opportunity and jumped from my arms...and ran for freedom, under a chair in the living room.
Well, I ran for her carrier and her bath house, hoping to corral her quickly. No luck. BUT..on top of it my husband took the opportunity to get all upset that I "let" Trixie escape....again. Now, it has been over a year since she got loose in the house, but that is beside the point I guess.
Everytime Trixie poked her head out, hubby would start yelling at her..and then at me to grab her. Of course that scared her back into hiding. It took a log time for me to convince him he was not helping matters any by pitching a fit. He was just scaring her.
After about 20 minutes she ran back into her playroom. I was on her heels, and followed her in, closing the door behind me. She then jumped up oto the back of a chair, and I got her.
Needless to say she was not happy at being caught.

Poor Marie and Poor Trixie! You know it's not your fault Marie! Those chins are crafty creatures and they will escape any chance they get. Glad you got her back in her cage! Men just have no finesse!

I have escapees at least once every few weeks nothing to worry about they are good at letting theselves out to play

We have the poop battle too. He will get over it, they always do. Chins love to escape. She just wanted to come out and say hi.
