Alright, so over the time i have has Snowball, her stomach seems to be getting alot bigger, and she seems kinda fat, i noticed she eats alot more than Whiskers and im wondering on how i can cut down on what she eats, i give lots of hay which she loves but i also have unlimited food which i guess maybe i should change, but im worried that if i give less food Whiskers wont get enough, what do you think i should do?

Get a gram scale if you want to keep track of her weight, don't compare her to any other chin though. They come in all shapes and sizes. A big girl could weigh 1200 grams possibly or more. Could she be pregnant? If she really was getting huge I wouldn't cut back on the food at all, maybe she is getting too many treats. They don't need treats at all, but don't just give treats to one chin and not the other. If I felt she really did need to lose a little weight I would simply increase her playtime. Pics and weights would help.

Generally chins don't get too fat. Some are just larger and have more rolls than others. Unless your chin is getting fatty treats like nuts and seeds, I doubt she's too fat. If you're giving nuts and seeds, those need to stop because the fat can cause fatty liver disease.

If she's eating just pellets and hay, she should be just fine.

Alright, yeah she isn't getting treats cause she is young, the only treats she has ever had was once pinch of oats one night, shes never had anything other than that, but just more playtime and she should be fine??

Should i start weighing her?? Where can i get a scale under $5 or $10? Target?

She is just under 5 months, and the largest kitchen scale we have is 500 grams but it looked like she weighs more than that, but im not sure how much more, im gonna try go buy a bigger scale ASAP, about how much should she weigh at 5 months? THanks

All chins weigh different amounts, even at a certain age, so you can't really say what a chin should weigh at 5 months really. I'm sure she's just growing up. Chins come in all shapes and sizes, so she's probably just bigger than your other chin. I can guarantee I've seen some huge chins at the chin shows. Much larger than you'll ever see at a petstore or backyard breeder.

Some chins get over 1000 grams easily.

Ok i got a scale witha big bowls but she keeps kicking it off when i try to put her in there, i super glued it down, but how do i get her to hold still

Try giving her a treat like a shredded wheat or something larger that she has to nibble while she's sitting on it.

We don't have shredded wheats :( the biggest thing i can think of is a cherrio but idk if we have any that are not honey, i will go check
