We randomly got to talking about weather and snow in chat, so I told Jenn I'd post a couple pictures of my backyard/front yard with all the snow. It's mid March and we're still covered in it all! Welcome to Spring in Canada ;)

Backyard. To the left of the table should be stairs.. but its all snow

Front yard. You can tell they ran out of place for all the snow, so they just stacked it in the middle of the crescent... (ignore my very very dirty blue car)

Holy snow! Boy am I glad to live in florida! Im not a cold weather person, although I suppose kinda have to be to live in canada!

Sasha, I sure hope you like snow! Wow, I won't complain about my cold weather anymore, although I'm still ready to move somewhere warmer! Thanks for making me feel better about Western Washington!

Wow, look at those mounds of snow! I'm learning to snowboard and can appreciate a day trip out to the snow but I really don't think I could ever live in a place that got that much snow!

Keep in mind it's been above freezing here for the past couple days, so some of it has MELTED! lmao.

My fiance is from Arkansas.. .... he got a huge awakening when he came here... Thinking he could shovel the driveway in a t-shirt and jeans. Hahaha.....

Wow, that is quite a bit of snow there!

It got somewhat nippy last night here. I think it was around 58 degrees. lol :tease:

GREEN GRASS!? WHAAAAT!? lol

Hahaha.. I'm from the north and this was my first year in a warmer climate. getting 5" of snow this year was a shocking disappointment. But as far as grass, it is BRIGHT green near my home and I took pictures of the daffodils coming up over a month ago.

Have to say Im a bit jealous. 8months of white&snow and all you wanna see is some green!

I can agree with that living in Wisconsin, and to think im super excited about moving to Washington for the simple fact they less snow Im probably crazy hehe

What area of Washington? Not much snow along the coast, but a lot of NE winds that can chill you to the bone!

Am moving to Bothell, still has to be warmer than a wisconsin winter though lol

Congrats on your move! Bothell will be 'warmer' than Wisconsin in a way. It's the lingering grey 50 degree cold that eats at your insides and turns them to mush... har de har har.

First is outside my folk's in Everett (Forest Park - right next to Bothell) November 29th of last year. It stays green year round there for the most part. I think you'll really enjoy it. :))

Second is of my new house last week. Neighbor's already mowed the lawn three times - the grass is always green here and it's weird. My body still hasn't registered a winter since moving here, it's like eternal summer.

Third is the eastern side of WA, my favorite picture. Got up one morning to go to school and the pine tree next to my car was frozen. Brr.

You will be about 1 1/2 hours south of me. I'm up right by the border. It's funny watching the local Seattle news when we get snow - that's all they talk about! Everyone starts to panic when we get snow since we don't get too much of it, mainly just a lot of rain. But this year we got quite a bit of snow that took a couple of weeks or more to go away. Usually the snow only lasts a few days. It has to be much better than Wisconsin, and tons better than where Sasha lives!!!
