Felix loves to cuddle. I don't know why, either, considering his human contact before I got him was little to none. He will curl up next to my side and especially loves it when I have a blanket. He will literally sit there for hours. (I've had to pry him away after 1.5, so I know he would sit longer if he could) I worry about him actually getting heat stroke while he's sitting with me. Should I stop letting him? I love having him with me, I just wrap a blanket around my shoulders and he curls up in it and sleeps while I sit and watch TV and such.

I might be wrong on this, but I think that if he got too hot, he would come out of the blanket. I have a chin who hides under his fleece no matter how many times I try to take him out of it and we have never had any problems so I would assume that if he knew he was too hot, he'd do something about it. Unless you knew for sure that it was too hot for him under the blanket and if he felt really warm, I would think he'd be okay.

My Tribble hides under his fleece too. He likes to make a "burrow" and hide underneath it. I've thought about him getting hot, but he always comes out of there.. so yeah, I would think he would move away from the blanket if he was too warm.

Okay, thanks :) His ears get pretty warm, but then I put a water bottle in with him :p I guess he's not so weird after all!

My girl, Rolo loves it when we hug her under a blanket. She will stay there and not come out unless we lift her out of it. I think it's their instinct to burrow in a safe place!
